FAQs

Answers, straight.

The questions Republican committees ask most before moving their fundraising and compliance onto Crimson.

Getting Started & Migration

Most committees are up and running quickly. Onboarding covers importing your existing donor and contribution history, configuring your committee’s compliance settings, and training your team, so you are working in Crimson rather than rebuilding from scratch.

Yes. Crimson imports contacts, contribution history, and event records from spreadsheets and most other systems, and our team helps map and clean the data during onboarding so nothing is lost.

No. Crimson is cloud-based and runs in the browser on any device, so there is nothing to install and your data is available wherever the campaign goes.

Compliance & FEC Filing

Yes. CrimsonFiler generates FEC reports directly from the same records you fundraise in, with built-in error checking so issues are caught before a report ever reaches the commission.

Crimson supports federal and state committees (campaigns, PACs, JFCs, party committees, and advocacy/IE organizations) and the report types each is required to file, including amendments.

Every gift and disbursement is recorded with a clean, traceable audit trail, so you can produce defensible records on demand instead of reconstructing them at filing time.

Data & Security

Crimson is cloud-hosted in secure, access-controlled infrastructure with regular backups, so your committee’s data stays protected and available.

Yes. Crimson’s Data Security feature lets you define custom roles and access levels, so staff, consultants, and vendors see only what they should, useful for keeping IE and advocacy activity walled off.

Your committee’s data is yours. You can export it, and access is governed by the roles and permissions you set.

Fundraising & Events

Online contributions, events, pledges, recurring gifts, and major-donor and call-time programs, all tracked against one donor record, so you always know where a supporter stands.

Yes. Invitations, RSVPs, ticketing, and payments live in one place and tie back to each attendee’s donor profile.

Yes. Crimson builds smart call lists and major-donor portfolios so principals spend their time on the right asks.

Integrations

Crimson connects with common fundraising and outreach tools, including Anedot, Constant Contact, and MailChimp, so your gifts and contacts stay in sync.

Yes. Crimson supports imports and exports so you can move data between Crimson and the other systems your operation relies on.

Pricing & Plans

Crimson is licensed to fit your committee’s size and needs. For pricing tailored to your operation, request a demo and we will walk you through the options.

Yes. Launchpad is the early-stage on-ramp for new campaigns: start raising and staying compliant from day one, then grow into full Crimson without a migration or a fresh start.

Yes. Launchpad and Crimson are the same platform sized differently, so scaling up adds capability without moving your data or losing your history.
